I?m lacing up for the 2026 Chicago Marathon to run with the Parkinson's Champions team and raise vital funds and awareness.
I'm undertaking this incredible challenge to support the Parkinson?s Foundation in honor of my dad, Kurt Hoffman. Diagnosed in 2023, Dad has faced Parkinson?s not only with immense courage and vulnerability but, thankfully, with his signature humor intact.
For every milestone he?s cheered me through in my life, I am honored to dedicate this effort to him. This marathon is my way to cheer him on and support him as he continues to face this disease head-on.
Why We Run: The Parkinson's Foundation is essential, working every day to make life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing critical research toward a cure. Research strongly indicates that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise, combined with medication, can significantly enhance the quality of life for those impacted.
We run and will continue to run because this disease is not a sprint, it?s a marathon.
Your support helps power this vital work. Every single dollar counts. Thank you for standing with me and with my dad!
