Our husband, father, and grandfather, Dale R. Forsythe was an incredible man and loved by so many. In October of 2025, after fighting a courageous battle for three years, we received the news that he had ALS.
As hard as it was for him and our family, he faced every challenge with so much strength, humility and grace. He taught us what true unconditional love and forgiveness looks like, how a great sense of humor can be the best medicine and to value and cherish every moment you have.
He was a proud Air Force veteran, an even prouder father, Papa, and Pop-pop, and a devoted and selfless husband. He loved going to the races, playing card games with the family and a big bowl of French vanilla ice cream. He made the best bowl of popcorn you could ever have, enjoyed rides with his wife, Anita, on his Harley and always had the loudest laugh in the room.
He lost his battle with ALS but won his healing on his birthday, January 26, 2026. We miss him endlessly and so we walk for him. We walk in honor of the battle he fought, his beautiful life and his legacy. It is for him that we walk to raise money to defeat ALS.
