The Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio and The Episcopal Church have legacies of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God?s love for every human being.
Leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. Ordination and the offices of bishop, priest, and deacon are open to all without discrimination. Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. We affirm the gifts, presence, and leadership that LGBTQ+ people bring to the church and Kingdom of God.
We believe that God loves us all ? no exceptions.

About our Pride logo artist
Artist Kristin LeMay finally found her church home in the Episcopal Church and has been delighted to discover her vocation there too, working for twenty years as a communicator and designer for many church organizations. She worships at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Athens, where she also serves on the vestry. Her nine-year old son, Roland, has become a wonderful consultant on color and content, whereas their three tabbies just like to step on the computer keyboard at the worst possible moment.
