Thursday night, April 24, 2025 Arch 1 medi-vac helicopter out of Granite City, IL was en route to a practice LZ in Hartford, IL with three souls on board. The aircraft went down with all crew members in the cabin. All members sustained moderate injuries to require hospitalization. Two of the three crew members would later be discharged while the last crew member, Chase Niewoehner sustained major, life-altering injuries. Chase has broke his back and is requiring surgical intervention for repairs. Lets show Chase our support through his journey to recovery, as he is grounded but unbreakable.
