I was reading 2 Corinthians when it hit me.

All this time, people have been calling me strong. And I have been quietly coming apart behind the word.

Strong is a wall I built brick by brick to survive what was happening to my son. Strong is the smile in the church lobby. Strong is the mamma who doesn?t cry, doesn?t break, doesn?t need anything.

It isn?t strength that?s been holding me up.

It?s His grace.

?My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.? 2 Corinthians 12:9.

He didn?t say be stronger. He said My grace is enough. He said the power shows up in the weakness, not around it. Not after I?ve pulled it together. In it.

That changes everything.

This shirt is for the mamma who is tired of being called strong. The one who is holding it all and quietly wondering how much longer she can. You don?t have to keep being the wall. You were never meant to.
