Javi was diagnosed at 8 weeks old with X-linked Myotubular Myopathy - a rare genetic condition affecting 1 in 50,000 boys. We were told things like "he may never walk" and "we don't know what to expect for his development."

At 7 months old he started attending the Little Light House. A non-profit, tuition free school for kids with special needs. Here we were encompassed with therapists and staff who looked at our sweet boy and saw only potential - not limitations. Since beginning in the Family Learning Center at the Little Light House he has thrived in every way. We are fundraising to help keep this school tuition free for Javi and special needs kiddos like him. Join us in continuing the mission to Help Kids Be Kids!
