Savannah Blair Burch was born sleeping on March 12, 2025 at 33+2 weeks due to Thanatophoric Dysplasia. Sufficient Grace Ministries provided perinatal bereavement support and stayed with her parents for 48 hours for comfort and memory making. SGM's bereavement doula Jenn ensured Savannah's parents and family had the most memorable experience for her birth and the hours afterwards.
Last year Savannah's Sunrise Miles was able to donate $1,500 through GoFundMe and Bonfire with an additional $500 through Runsignup to Sufficient Grace Ministries, and a secondary donation of $500 to Chrysanthemum Project in Savannah's honor.
This year's design is crafted to represent Savannah's short life, similar to the life cycle of her birth month flower: the Daffodil. With hues of green to represent the lethal form of dwarfism that Thanatophoric Dysplasia falls into, as well as pinks and blues to represent the baby loss ribbon that her parents wear so proudly to honor her existence.
Though she was born sleeping, she matters. Her story matters. These shirts help spread awareness about stillbirth, lethal skeletal dysplasia conditions, and help keep organizations like Sufficient Grace Ministries operating.
