I Really Like Making Silly Art (for all ages)

I've loved to draw and doodle since I was old enough to hold a crayon.

I loved to doodle on my homework and tests, hoping to get a laugh out of my teachers.

I'd make comic books during lunch with my group of friends, usually telling silly stories about The Adventures of Neo and Milo.

I loved drawing while petsitting and always left the sketches behind for their owners when they came back home, because I loved to hear how surprised they were with the artwork.

I loved doing some of the Inktober prompts, even if I never completed the entire month or shared the artwork.

After receiving my cancer diagnosis in 2019, I eventually put my pencils away and my sketchbook sat gathering dust in the closet for over a year. I walked away from one of my longest-standing passions and let myself give up. I'd walk past sketchbooks and feel the tug to start again, but depression always won out and everything stayed in that box on the top shelf.

I firmly believe I owe it to my daughter for bringing my passion back and inspiring me to empty out that box and start doing what I love most again. And I owe it to my husband, Ethan, for being so unbelievably supportive no matter what endeavors I take on.

So, hopefully as I add items, something here makes you smile.

Maybe something will make you laugh.

But most of all, I hope you feel the love and passion in every piece of artwork here. Because it's really good to be back.
