Open plains under the expansive Colorado skies with views of Pikes Peak will provide a wonderful retreat to lay down their pain and pick up their dreams. Under the supervision of our rescue horses, veterans will have, not only our already established services, but also, a retreat for longer-term care as they stabilize in the company of trauma-informed care providers, resilient horses with a story to tell, and a bridge between short-term mental health hospitals and the world that awaits them.
