About this campaign
TIP provides immediate emotional and practical support to survivors of tragedy. Local residents are trained to be TIP Volunteers, and as TIP Volunteers they respond on a 24/7/365 day basis to requests for assistance from police officers, firefighters, paramedics, deputy coroners and hospital personnel.
Volunteers respond to support survivors of all types of tragedy including sudden deaths, suicides, auto accidents, drownings and sudden infant deaths. TIP Volunteers also support travelers when tragedy occurs in Yuba-Sutter when they are far from home.
Money raised from this campaign will help train and equip TIP responders throughout the year. In addition, money raised will help provide resources and materials to adults and children survivors of a tragedy.
