/gi ge:/ : heals up is an Indigenous and queer owned and operated collective in Teejop. 

Our goal is to provide the community in and around Teejop with an accountable space for a variety of art, community, and healing work, including but not limited to tattooing, gallery space for local artists, bodywork, cultural education, and mutual aid. We aim to provide a platform for marginalized artists in our communities as well as an urban access point for tribal communities to connect to local organizations. 

Our tattooing practice is gender and trauma informed. We are engaged in the work of carrying on the Indigenous tradition of healing through tattoos as well as the more recent tradition of queer body reclamation through the same ink, while providing a collaborative space for our clients to be involved in the process from concept to execution. 

We would not exist without our communities and those who have gone before us and so we hope to use this space to widen the path for those who will follow after.
